Living in an apartment is attractive for many reasons. Firstly the space is usually small and manageable which is good for someone who is single or a couple without children. The rent is usually lower and this makes it an affordable way to live in a big city such as London or Paris. The downside to owning an apartment is the lack of a garden. Most apartments have balconies and this is an essential feature to have when someone has no access to the outside world via a garden or veranda. If a balcony is wide enough someone could use it in the morning to enjoy a cup of coffee or in the evening to wind down with a glass of wine. People want convenience in all areas of life nowadays which is probably why vanity units are becoming popular.
Having a shower rather than a bath can save water which in turn reduces utility bills and lessens someone�s impact on the environment. It�s also very quick to jump in and out of the shower whereas a bath needs to be filled, relaxed in and then drained and cleaned. This isn�t practical when people are rushing to get to work or a whole family needs to use it at the same time. A shower is easy to wash down and doesn�t need to be filled up. A shower can also look more elegant and it certainly uses up less space allowing someone to add another feature such as a bidet.
