internal lintels are both economical
and easy to store, carry and use.
When a minimum height of 152mm of
brick/blockwork with well-filled joints
of cement mortar is built over the lintel,
the construction will be load-bearing
for normal domestic building purposes
after curing.
The loading capacity of the
lintel can be increased by increasing
the height of the walling built across it.
